So much in the world wants to tell us how we and our children ‘should be.’

We are pushed really as the families we are, for our own greater good, to accept that we are not going to jump through the hoops society has set up for us. 

This is a gift.

This is freedom. 

But only when we stop resisting, and ACCEPT the gift.

Acceptance doesn’t mean you can’t, or won’t make changes.

Acceptance is about seeing where you are right now and allowing that to be OK!

By no longer draining your energy away by looking back and wondering where you’ve been, why you did that, what you could have done differently etc you can focus your energy back onto where you would like to go next. 

Acceptance is deep self care!

Acceptance is resilience!

Now, imagine you’re setting up your Sat Nav to go on a journey somewhere.

As you put in your current destination you don’t get asked…

Well where have you been?

Why did you go there?

What were you thinking?

What took you so long?

It is simply a case of – Where to now???

Your inner guide is asking you just the same…

no judgement

no blame

no analysis

Simply – Where to now?

Your inner guidance just like your sat nav doesn’t worry if you’ve gone off track a little, or even a lot. 

You’ll simply hear…

“You may now proceed with clarity along the highlighted route!”

So, maybe you feel like you’ve been going in the wrong direction.

Maybe a really really long way in the wrong direction.

You could go back over the route and work out where you went wrong.

You could retrace all your steps and find out the exact place (or person) where you went off track. 

Yes you could, but it’s taking all your time and energy my friend, and in the meantime you’re still heading in the wrong direction!

Or, you could look where you are, and proceed to the highlighted route. 

The choice is always yours.
